The annual Yosemite Hydroclimate (Virtual) Meeting is scheduled for Oct. 15 - 16, 2020. To avoid Zoom burnout, we’ll convene for two half-day sessions, Thursday and Friday, 12:30 to 4:30.
This conference is an excellent opportunity to describe your work in Yosemite National Park as well as the greater Sierra Nevada region. Fire and smoke seem to be the new norm, so the suggested conference theme is "Research and resource management to foster wildfire resilience and reduce risk.” How do we respond to this new regime, especially during COVID, as researchers, ecosystem monitors, and managers?
