Join Us for the Upcoming Southern Sierra Prescribed Fire Council Annual Meeting!
The Southern Sierra Prescribed Fire Council will host its annual meeting and field trip at the Central Sierra Historical Museum in Shaver Lake, CA. The field trip will be on nearby Southern California Edison forestry lands with the potential of seeing an active prescribed fire in action (weather dependent). 11/6/2019 will be the field trip and 11/7/2019 will be the annual meeting. Attendance is free but please RSVP below to help us with planning. Field trip space is currently limited and does require some prescribed burning experience. If you’re interested in the field trip, please mark so in registration and list your experience. We will email you at least one week before the event as to whether or not there is field trip space for you.
